The Fongo Works cloud-based phone system can be expanded through the use of its companion application, providing users with enhanced functionality and flexibility.

Note that an active Fongo Works account is required to utilize this app, which can be created at www.fongoworks.com.

Key features of the app include:

• Incoming Call Identification: Provides visual cues to distinguish between personal and business calls.
• Caller ID Options: Allows outgoing calls to be made either publicly from your business numbers or privately, depending on your preference.
• Team Messaging: Facilitates internal communication through an instant messaging feature, supporting quick team interactions.
• Call History Review: Enables users to access records of answered and missed calls for better call management.
• Conference Calls: Offers immediate access to the system’s conference calling services for collaborative discussions.
• Voicemail Management: Permits listening to voicemails associated with your extension and sharing them via email directly from the app.

Please note that login credentials for the mobile app differ from those used for the online dashboard. To obtain these credentials, have your Fongo Works group manager activate the app via the management dashboard.

Important:

• A stable internet connection with download and upload speeds exceeding 2 Mbps is recommended for optimal functionality.
• If notifications are disabled, inbound calls and messages will not be received through the app.
• In case of emergency calls (911), users should utilize their device’s built-in telephone application, as no SIM card is required for this service.
